For Muslim Women, Their Relationship to the Hijab Is a Back-and-Forth Conversation
After the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini on Sept. 16, 2022, large-scale protests have taken place in Iran and all over the world. This unit of the police force was established in 2005 to strictly enforce the Islamic dress code.
